Summary

I provide project‑based support across event planning, community and stakeholder outreach, content development, and on‑site operations. I often work with teams that are juggling multiple priorities and need help translating ideas into clear plans. My role typically involves managing timelines, vendors, and communications, while keeping the overall experience cohesive and aligned with the intent behind it.

Reflection
This work has reinforced how much I value being close to execution. I enjoy stepping into moments of ambiguity and helping shape structure without over‑engineering the process. It has also reminded me that strong experiences are built as much through coordination and care as they are through creativity.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Sterling and Wilson

Summary

At Sterling and Wilson, I partnered with project teams and leadership to define priorities, distribute work across teams, and set schedules for large‑scale projects. I introduced clearer workflows and guidelines that reduced turnaround times and improved delivery consistency. Much of my role involved coordinating across functions, managing vendors, and ensuring teams had the information they needed to move forward.

Reflection
This role deepened my appreciation for systems thinking. I learned how small changes in process can have outsized impacts, and how important it is to design workflows that work for people, not just timelines.

TECHNICAL WRITER

Summary

At Lender Price, I worked across digital marketing, product content, and UX for a B2B lending platform. I led content and email initiatives, collaborated closely with the CEO and product teams, and helped identify friction in client‑facing software. My work included UX mockups, website updates, accessibility‑focused content, and client documentation for banking professionals.

Reflection
This role clarified my interest in user experience as a form of problem solving. I became more intentional about grounding decisions in how people actually use products, especially when the information is complex or high‑stakes.

2019

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

The Right Brain Studio

Summary

I conducted and moderated focus groups with older adults across multiple US cities as part of a research project for Blue Cross Blue Shield. The research focused on brand perception, trust, and accessibility, and surfaced the ways digital‑first systems can unintentionally exclude older users. I synthesized findings into a narrative that highlighted gaps between brand legacy and current experience.

Reflection
This experience shaped how I think about access and inclusion. It taught me the importance of listening carefully, resisting assumptions, and recognizing how design and policy decisions ripple through real lives.

MARKETING ASSOCIATE

I supported recruitment marketing initiatives by creating daily social media content, managing content calendars, and collaborating on UX improvements for the USC veteran program. The work focused on consistency, clarity, and making the application experience easier to navigate.

Reflection
Even in a short role, I saw how thoughtful design and messaging can influence whether people feel supported or overlooked. It reinforced the idea that small touchpoints matter.

COMMUNICATIONS EDITOR

USC Office of International Services

Summary

I managed digital communications for USC’s international student community, including newsletters, web content, and social media. I launched the office’s first Instagram account, developed an SEO‑aligned content strategy, and worked across departments to organize events and share information clearly and accurately.

Reflection
This role made me acutely aware of how information can either empower or overwhelm. It strengthened my ability to communicate with empathy and clarity, especially for audiences navigating unfamiliar systems.

2017 - 2018

CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE

Summary

At DViO Digital, I worked in an all‑women team managing client relationships across seven accounts in education, retail, and home furnishings. This included global and regional brands such as Aldo, Birkenstock, and Amity University. I conceptualized and executed bilingual social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram in English and Arabic, collaborated with regional influencers, and supported a nationally recognized radio station launch in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Happiness.

I also helped deploy a community engagement strategy for HomeBox, part of the Landmark Group, that focused on improving responsiveness and customer trust, resulting in a 63% reduction in daily customer complaints.

Reflection
Working across brands and languages reinforced the importance of cultural context. It showed me that effective marketing is less about volume and more about listening carefully and responding in ways that feel relevant and respectful.

2016 - 2020

PROJECT CONSULTANT

Freelance

Summary

Alongside full‑time roles, I worked as a project consultant across digital, UX, and marketing initiatives. I partnered with Redbird Group on website and SEO improvements, supported UX strategy for the USC Wellbeing Collective, handled social and outreach efforts for The Right Brain Studio, grew social channels for Silk Threads by Ruby Bhandari, and coordinated digital alignment across nearly 200 UniFirst branch offices.

Reflection
This body of work helped me become adaptable and resourceful. It taught me how to quickly understand context, balance ideal solutions with constraints, and contribute meaningfully regardless of scale or structure.

2016 - 2017

CORPORATE CONSUMER ASSOCIATE

Summary

At Weber Shandwick, I supported communications and influencer campaigns for a range of global clients, including McDonald’s, Jaguar‑Land Rover, Johnson & Johnson, Nespresso, Tetra Pak, GoPro, American Girl, Siemens, Carefree, and Women in Nuclear. My work spanned press releases, media kits, influencer coordination, content calendars, coverage reporting, and market research.

​

Key projects included increasing influencer test drives for Jaguar‑Land Rover by 25%, creating bilingual English and Arabic campaigns for McDonald’s that addressed brand trust concerns and contributed to increased McChicken sales, and preparing a strategy deck for indoor sports client Ski Dubai - presented to HRH Sheikh Mohammed, Ruler of Dubai.

Reflection
This role taught me how much responsibility comes with shaping public narratives. Working on high‑visibility brands in sensitive contexts sharpened my judgment, attention to detail, and understanding of how communication choices can have real‑world impact.

ADVERTISING REPRESENTATIVE: LONELY SEAL RELEASING

I supported advertising and outreach efforts at the Cannes Film Festival, working directly with the founder of independent film distributor Lonely Seal Releasing. Through in‑person networking and relationship building, I generated over 200 leads in a high‑pressure, time‑bound environment.

 

Reflection
This experience showed me the power of clarity and confidence. It also sparked my interest in how stories travel, and how much context matters when you’re trying to be heard.
